Musical Masiahhhh
I have way to much music. I am a music hoarding whore. So I'm sharing 20 (one) songs that mean something to me. So I bring you, in the chord of C, "Songs of Significance." With notes on why they're significant to me.

1. Muse- Invincible (The song I want played at my wedding)

During the struggle they will pull us down
but please, please lets use this time to turn things around
and tonight we can truly say
together we're invincible.

2. Relient K- This week the trend (I can't explain my liking for this song, itunes was on random when I first heard it, and the words just struck me as something I could relate to)

And I just want to get mugged at knife point
To get cut up enough to wake me up
'cause I know that I don't want to die
sitting around watching my life go by

3. Arcade Fire- Intervention (Its so unbelieveably epic this song. And it was hard to pick just one Arcade Fire song, because I love them so much)

I can taste your fear
it's gonnaliftyouupandtakeyououtofhere.
And the bone shall never heal;
I care not if you kneel.

4. Bernard Fanning- Which way home? (Because hes a sexy mofo. And some days are just like this. But this song is so positive at the same time)

Leave all the worries that fuck you up
sting much worse than a paper cut
leave them all hanging here by the door
when you leave them behind you're gonna wipe the floor.

5. Bon Iver- Skinny love (One of my most recent discoveries.  Its so heartbreakingly sad, sorrowful and dark, but at the same time is very beautiful and soft at the same time.)

Now all your love is wasted?
Then who the hell was I?
Now I'm breaking at the britches
and at the end of all your lines.

6. Architecture in Helsinki- Debbie (Everytime I hear this song, I can't help but sing along to it and dance like a crazy person.)

Said the Fibber to the Snake
There's an opportunist dude
watch his mouth its open wide
and hes trying not to eat you...

7. Deftones- Digital Bath (From one of my all time favourite albums "White pony". Perfect balance between delicate wording and heavy guitar riffs. And its on my jogging mix, so it pumps me up)

You make the water warm
You taste foreign
And I know you can see
The chord breakaway.

8. Nine Inch Nails- We're in this together (o-m-g. My all time most favourite song ever. It needs no explaination. Its brilliant. I also want this played at my wedding. I hope I have an understanding bunch of in-laws.)

You and me, we're in this together now
none of them can stop us now
we will make it through somehow
you and me
if the world should break in two
until the very end of me
until the very end of you

9. Nine Inch Nails- The Great Below (His music has had a lot of meaning in my life, so expect a few songs. This song is so pretty. Thats the only way to describe it. I love the way he ebbs and flows between whispering and singing, and finally swells to a peak at the finale, and then gently falls back down again)

The currents have their say,
The time is drawing near
Washes me away
Makes me disappear
And I descend from grace
In arms of undertow
I will take my place
In the Great Below

10. Gotye- Hearts a Mess (Because we all feel like this sometimes, and it pretty much describes my view on love, and a little bit about how I see myself)

Your hearts a mess
You won't admit to it
It makes no sense
But I'm desperate to connect
And you, you can't live like this.

11. Josh Pyke- Forever Song (Optimistically melancholy.)

We sleep together
Whilst people kill each other where they lie
...
I want a  song I can sing forever
I don't care for structure, just to know that its mine

12. Kaki King- Life being what it is (The lyrics. Listen to them! and she is a amazingful guitar player!)

Life being what it is
We all dream of revenge.

13. Tegan and Sara- Wake up Exhausted (the story of my life some days)

So let go and move on
We're strangers, We're not friends
I hate this, and I hate them
This city's exhausted and its wound up
soon to be a place thats just filled up
and I found out that you're angry
and that you're sorry that you ever met me.

14. Tegan and Sara- Knife going in (Anxiety, worry, perception, representation.)

Do you think I'll make it
to the morning if its written?
The kind of song I know
'cause mother, sister, lover worry.

15. Tegan and Sara- Hop A Plane (Because sometimes we need it spelled out to us)

All I want to hear is that
You're not mine, you're not mine
All I need to hear is that
You're not mine, You're not mine

16. Tegan and Sara- Soil, Soil (My heart breaks for her whenever I hear this song. I also feel like curling into a ball and crying when I hear this song, depending on my mood.)

I feel like a fool so I'm going to stop troubling you
Buried in my yard a letter to send to you
And if I forget or god forbid die to soon
Hope that you'll hear me, know that I wrote to you.

17. Tegan and Sara- Burn your life down (The last T&S song, I promise! It makes me think of turning over a new leaf, because I first heard this song when significant things were happening in my life.)

You lay awake in the dark just staring at the ceiling above
pulling pieces of it out, its such a waste of time.
Keep on fighting to remember, that nothing is lost in the end
when you burn your life down.

18. UNKLE- X-FILES theme. (Turning something great into something even better. I love the violins in this, it gives it a slight haunted quality)

19. Filter- One (Because its true. And one of the guys used to play in NIN. I a music nerd, yes I know, and I love how it starts slow and kicks to be rockin' Just sucks that I can't find any of their albums anywhere legally.)

Its just no good anymore
since you went away
Now I spend my time
Just making up rhymes of yesterday
One is the loneliest number
since you went away.

20. Better than Ezra- One more Murder (darkly funny. How I like most things)

One more murder in this town
Don't worry the rain
will wash the chalk marks
off  the ground.

bonus material!

21. UNKLE feat. Gavin Clark- Broken (Its my, Mulder and Scully in a row boat on an ocean making their way to "Esme Island" shippy song. And I love it. The funny thing is I bought the album the song is off (War Stories. Go buy it. Love it) because I like one song off of it (that isn't this song), and I'm all for buying cheap cd's of artists I've never heard of, and this was months before I became a fan of the x-files, or the credits of I Want to Believe. DESTINY-ED FOR  FANDOM THAT SONG IS!)

I'm over, I'm over, I'm over, I'm broken
Strung out on the wings of the dawn
Hole in the black soul of the storm
Torn down through the cracks in the dark
We're miles adrift, we're inches apart.

If I fucked up any links let me know, also, if you want all the songs as a zip/rar file, let me know as well. And I will leave this entry public, so tell all your friends :Pontents here.
